Assist the Occupational Therapist (OT) in conducting thorough evaluations to determine patients' functional levels, needs, and goals.
Help develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.Provide occupational therapy interventions under the direction of the OT to help patients achieve their goals and improve their daily living skills.
Use therapeutic techniques to enhance fine motor skills, coordination, sensory integration, and cognitive functions.Regularly assess and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary under the OT’s supervision.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.Educate patients and their families about therapeutic processes, goals, and home exercise programs as directed by the OT.
Provide guidance on adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to facilitate independence.Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, doctors, and nurses, to provide holistic care.
Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
