Job DetailsTarget Ratios : 1 : 5-6. Must be comfortable with a 6-patient assignment.Contract Duration : Up to March 15, 2025, to cover the holiday period.

Shift : 12-hour nights, 18 : 45 - 07 : 15.Required Time Off (RTO) : Maximum of 7 days with specific blackout periods.Call Requirement : Yes, based on patient census.

Float Requirement : Yes.Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend, plus 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays in a 6-week period.Required Skills / Certifications / ExperienceMinimum Experience : 2 years, with similar ratios and acuity.

Traveler Experience : Open to first-time travelers.Skills : IV Start, Telemetry, cardiac procedures, cardiac drips, PCI.Certifications : ACLS, BCLS, NIH.

Patient DiagnosesPrimary cardiac and stroke unit handling pre / post care for pacemaker implantation, implanted cardioverter / defibrillators, and cardiac catheterization.

Care for patients with unstable angina, low-risk chest pain, CHF, dysrhythmias, CVA, and TIA.Manage multiple drips including Cardiazem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone.

Special Procedures / Unit DetailsHigh patient turnover with 78 to 90 patients per week.Team lead available for admissions and discharges.

COVID unit handling patients on opti-flow and acute Bipaps during surges.Special EquipmentTelemetry and pulse ox, High Flow O2, Non-Rebreather Mask, Bipap for chronic use.

Unit SystemsMedication : Pyxis.Documentation : Dimensions (EPIC).Communication : SBAR.Scheduling TypeSelf-scheduling with leadership oversight to ensure balance.

Unit Orientation36 hours required, with full availability during the first week for hospital orientation.ScrubsNavy blue or white, or a mixture of both.
