This position will assist the Community Services Manager with all day-to-day operations of the Adult Day Training program. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth, efficient service delivery and will also serve as the acting manager in the absence of the Service Manager.
Summary of Essential Job Functions :
- Responsible for creating and leading person-centered and interactive activities both onsite and in community settings for participants who attend our ADT Program
- Responsible for required ADT documentation and monitoring as designated by the Community Services Manager
- Responsible for ensuring that ADT activities promote independence and growth per the participants chosen goals
- Assist in participant personal care needs, such as assistance with eating and personal hygiene
- Participate in required training sessions and morning meetings as designated by the Community Service Manager
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements :
Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma, or GEDPersonal Vehicle, Valid Driver's License and Current Auto InsurancePhysically able to assist in lifting persons up to 250 pounds, as well as able to assist in the mobility of wheelchairs containing persons up to 250 poundsAbilities Required :
