Regular Full-time NY / NJ
The Installer is responsible for the quality installation of new products within schedules and budgets, including Hufcor and other products sold by the distributorship.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Complete the installation of all products sold by the distributorship per the schedule and budget
- Solve field and site problems or issues that interfere with the successful completion of the project
- Verify and complete field dimensions and site conditions
- Complete punch lists and get required customer signatures
- Generate service or maintenance contract leads
- Assist with service projects as needed
- Cross-train in other responsibilities
- Participate in ongoing process improvements
- Timely and accurate completion of essential responsibilities
- Active involvement in achieving corporate goals
- Travel to other distributor sites as requested, when available
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Strong technical / mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of construction practices
- Ability to work with hand and power tools
- Ability to be certified in construction equipment such as lifts
- Ability to pass any site required drug testing and criminal background checking
- Ability to read blueprints and layouts
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Organized, detail and quality oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills and a focus on customer satisfaction Minimum Education and Experience :
- Education equivalent to a high school diploma
- Minimum of two years of construction experience
