Your designs will need to meet stringent safety and efficacy standards.

The job title will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience, with positions ranging from senior engineer to staff engineer or higher.

Required Qualifications and Skills :

Educational Background :

Master’s or Ph.D. in a field related to robotics.

Technical Skills :

  • Programming : Strong proficiency in C / C++ and Python; working knowledge of Matlab.
  • Operating Systems : Expertise in real-time Linux.
  • Familiarity with ROS2 / ROS.
  • In-depth knowledge of image-guided robotic control systems and algorithms.
  • Expertise in control systems and algorithms for robotic manipulators.
  • Solid understanding of automation with robotic systems.
  • Expertise in robot path planning and trajectory generation algorithms.
  • Proficiency in using software version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with computer vision libraries, such as OpenCV.

Experience :

  • Ideally, 3+ years of software development experience in robotics, with at least 2+ years in a regulated environment or medical device manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience integrating hardware and software for robotic systems, particularly with imaging modules like cameras.
  • Practical experience with control and / or path planning algorithms for robotic manipulators or systems.

Soft Skills :

  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with good documentation abilities.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and test software and control algorithms for robotic systems.
  • Evaluate and enhance the performance of robotic systems.
  • Collaborate with various technical teams to develop new features.
  • Conduct risk assessments and design safety algorithms.
  • Document requirements, risks, and test protocols to support regulatory approvals, including those required by the FDA.
