Michigan Regional - Field Service Technician
Field Service Technician Job Responsibilities :
- Provide technical and maintenance support to Minster's customers with their metal forming equipment
- Commission new and remanufactured metal forming equipment in customer's plants
- Audit customers' metal forming equipment and report all repair requirements found
- Provide written and oral reports in English in an accurate and professional manner
- Promote service offerings - training, parts, equipment upgrades, and service agreements with customers
- Work flexible hours to support customer service needs
- Build rapport with customers to enhance customer experience
- Extensive travel required with 75% of the travel being in the Michigan region
Field Service Job Qualifications :
- Knowledge of machinery mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and maintenance processes
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills are a must to effectively communicate with customer, engineers and technical support personnel
- Candidates must be Michigan region residents or willing to relocate to the Michigan region
- Ideal Candidate would be located near Detroit, Lansing or Grand Rapids
