IT Portfolio Analyst
Job Description
- Support the management of the flow of projects into the overall IT work plan.
- Assist in the management of the overall IT project portfolio and prepare materials for senior management review and approval.
- Participates in intake discussions and activities related to evaluation, selection, and prioritization of projects.
- Reviews and confirms that all new project materials align to the governance standards and value framework. Also works with the project sponsors to gather missing materials.
- Helps to ensure project business case analysis is completed & financials are tracked.
- Work with FP&A to integrate project costs into organization-level budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyzes the project budgets and perform financial analysis to track variances and investigates reasons to further help raise risks to the technology governance and EPMO teams.
- Gather and prepare reports on metrics that describe the state of the IT portfolio including Project Portfolio Health, Financial Health, and Resource Health.
- Support communications for IT initiatives.
- Prepare dashboards and reporting for Enterprise Investment Council review.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
