CNC Machinist - Swiss Machines

Title : CNC Machinist - Swiss Machines

Location : Lockhart, TX 78644 (20 minutes south of Austin)

Hourly : $30 - $33 / Hour + Overtime

Working Hours : Mon-Fri 7am-3 : 30pm (plus OT if desired)

Founded in early 2000s we are a 30 employee job shop & contract manufacturer operating out of a 15,000 sqft facility in Lockhart, TX where we provide machining services ranging from first operation productions through completion & assembly.  We have Swiss machines (Tornos & Citizen) that operate on Fanuc & Mitsubishi so we are looking to hire a CNC Swiss Setup Operator (either 1st or 2nd shift) that has exposure to those systems.

What You Will Be Doing

• Set up & operate Swiss-type lathes, mill-turn centers & multi-turret CNC machines
• Perform precision machining on complex components using twin spindle configurations
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T and process sheets to ensure accurate part production
• Conduct in-process inspections & make tool offsets or adjustments as needed
• Collaborate w / engineering & quality teams to optimize cycle times and reduce scrap
