Role Description
This is a full-time Diesel Mechanic role at Road Dog Mobile Repair located in the Tulsa Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for some remote work.
The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
They will diagnose issues, inspect parts, and perform necessary repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vehicles.
The Diesel Mechanic may also be responsible for conducting routine inspections, keeping records of repairs, and maintaining a clean and organized work area including the service truck.
They may have to work on some gasoline engines that some of the customers have. All software to scan and diagnose gas or diesel powered vehicles will be provided.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and related systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Experience with computerized diagnostic tools and software
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Certification or degree in Automotive Technology or a related field is preferred
