A South Bay startup is looking for a Senior Accountant to add to their team. In this role, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for technical accounting around equity, financial reporting, assisting with month-end, and supporting SEC reporting.

To be successful in this role, the Senior Accountant will need to be organized, a problem-solver, and be detail-oriented.

What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 4-6 years of public accounting experience
• Active CPA
• Advanced Excel
• Experience to technical accounting and accounting standards

What will you do in this Senior Accountant role?

• Equity compensation management
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations around stock pay
• Assist with the yearly financial statement audit
• Assist with SEC reporting
• Assist with SOX testing and internal controls
• Management analysis
• Support special projects as they come up
