About the Position

The Scenter Supervisor is a critical position at Scenthound Herriman. As Scenter Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing leadership and running your shifts efficiently.

We are a new, fast growing brand. We are seeking a supervisor who wants to grow with us and is not afraid to get hands on with dogs! This position requires :

• Management experience in retail, restaurant, or customer service industry is a must! (minimum one year)
• Ability to provide the Basic Hygiene Services to dogs when the schedule demands
• Customer service experience (retail, restaurant)
• Experience in a membership-based business model is a plus
• Proven ability to build an excellent store experience
• Prior sales experience preferred (1 year+)
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
• Computer / technology proficiency

We are searching for a Supervisor who leads by example and embraces new challenges. A successful Scenthound Supervisor is an independent problem solver, adaptable, detail-oriented, and a compassionate dog lover! We are looking for a HANDS-ON leader who will assist in training employees, respond to customer service needs, and model appropriate behaviors in the store.

This role provides leadership through building a culture of recognition while motivating the team with the goal of operational excellence.

Tasks :

• Instructs, trains, coaches, and develops staff.
• Understand store financials and KPI’s such as Labor Efficiency Ratio, Average Ticket Price, Rebook Ratio
• Sell memberships to walk-in customers
• Drive membership sales through dog health and wellness education
• Maintain a knowledgeable team that prioritizes dog wellness and safety
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship for the Scenter employees
• Drive employee development through leadership and training
• Uphold quality standards through hands-on participation, employee audits, and training
• Create an environment conducive to teamwork, open communication, and Scenthound values
• Manage client expectations; Resolve customer concerns
• Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times
• Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices

We're hiring 2 Supervisors for this role. One for our Herriman location on Daybreak Parkway as well as our upcoming Sandy location.

Initial training for the Sandy location will occur at our South Jordan and / or Herriman locations leading up to the opening of the Sandy store in November.

In addition to the hourly wage and tips, Supervisors also receive a $5 commission for every membership they sell. We also, provide up to $275 / month in healthcare insurance reimbursement.
