Backend Engineer

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer (Contract) to support backend integrations and data-driven application enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and integrations using Java or Kotlin

Work with complex SQL queries and database structures to ensure efficient data flow

Support and enhance SOAP-based APIs for critical integration layers

Required Qualifications

5-9 years of professional experience in backend engineering

Expertise in Java or Kotlin, with a preference for Kotlin

Advanced SQL and database querying skills

Hands-on experience with SOAP-based APIs and integration frameworks

Ability to work independently in a remote setup with immediate availability
