Overview
As a Resident Experience Associate, you are the customer service representative who enhances all aspects of the resident experience at a multimillion dollar, multifamily apartment home community.
Roles You Will Play
The Friendly Face
- Constantly looking for new ways to improve the resident experience, turn up the fun factor, and keep residents loving life at your community
- Help keep the energy professional, yet upbeat, in the leasing center, clubhouse, and other amenity areas where future and current residents interact
- Greet new residents, engage them in activities, and introduce them to other residents with similar interests and backgrounds
- Respond promptly and cheerfully to all resident questions and requests for assistance
The Events Coordinator
- Collaborate with the Regional Activity Coordinator to rethink, plan, and host resident events and activities using your creativity and inner party planner to help guide the way
- Organize transportation for residents to events outside of the community even if it means driving the community vehicle yourself
- Keep residents in the loop by publishing a monthly calendar and newsletter informing them of the community’s latest happenings
- Show residents your appreciation by organizing monthly birthday celebrations in their honor
The Organizer
- Recommend which supplies are needed to support resident events and programs
- Log approval and participation levels for each resident activity you host
- Share marketing ideas with the Community Manager to help boost resident satisfaction
- Use your creative decorating skills to give the community some added flair during holidays

- Resident satisfaction, and therefore occupancy and retention, are at such an all-time high, you can’t remember the last time you created a move-in basket.
Building Blocks of Success
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic and professional customer service
- Resourceful problem-solving
- Bilingual abilities (written and verbal), depending on needs of the property
- Significant computer skills preferred, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneSite property management software
- High school diploma or equivalent
