Description :
- Drive successful execution of our business strategy for the Itasa release liners business in the Americas
- Manage product development and commercialization for release liners in Americas
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to execute our strategy maintain portfolio profitability
- Represent Indafor and ITASA at our customer production locations and translate customer requirements to Indafor and ITASA on topics such as product specification, product quality, product runnability, performance claims, customer line optimization, competitive threats, and cost reduction.
- Collect and communicate market insights and customer unmet needs to enable enhancement of Mativ value-in-use and innovation.
- Act as a partner to our sales and customer service teams to anticipate, prevent and resolve all types of customer issues and claims.
- Work collaboratively with cross function teams to create value for Indafor & ITASA Customers : R&D, Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Sales.

- Manage development and commercialization of new products for the release liners segment in the Americas
- Initiate new product development projects aligned with business segment strategy.
- Develop specific project and business plans including opportunity size, product requirements, pricing, and value proposition.
- Execute project plans; actively manage development and commercialization projects working closely with R&D, customers / OEM partners and sales.
- Partner with the sales team to deliver on the business strategy.
- Develop pricing guardrails to maintain profitability and drive pricing decisions.
- Perform sales training on products.
- Collaborate with marketing communications leads to develop and maintain sales tools- Collateral, Product Demos / Sample Kits, Website, Advertising, Press Releases, White Papers, etc.
- Develop an open and trusting relationship with customer mill personnel from the shop floor to leadership.
- Primary customer interface to ensure consistency and suitability of Indafor products.
- Train customers on the efficient use of Indafor products.
- Responsible for initial troubleshooting of customer complaints related to run ability, quality, and overall product performance.
- Working with integrated Indafor and ITASA teams, rapidly respond, coordinate response, and solve customer complaints.
- Work collaboratively with the customer to reduce the number of claims.
- Coordinate the collection and shipment of necessary sample in support of quality workstreams.
- Work with integrated Indafor & ITASA teams to implement poke yoke solutions to continuously improve our product quality.
- Key point of contact for customer technical enquiries related to specifications, underlying COA data, and general technical data.
- Build an internal network and data set to enable comprehensive and accurate response to customer technical enquiries.
- Design, lead and execute joint value creation projects with customer plants.
- In collaboration with the sales representative, develop objectives and tactics that will be included in key account plans.
qualifications : Required
Required
- Travel 60%+
- Minimum of 5 years experience working with adhesives, silicone release products
- Assuming responsibility for areas of our product and services that that the tech rep does not hold specific responsibility for the success or failure (.
Product quality, product consistency, product suitability)
- Understand Indafor and ITASA production process and customers’ production process at a level where communication and analysis of the interaction between the two is possible
- Ability to operate in both contentious and harmonious situations
- Ability to communicate / represent a situation fairly and clearly between Indafor & ITASA and customers
- Ability to turn analysis into recommendations
- Ability to turn information into insights
Preferred
- Technical degree preferred with process engineering experience.
- Quality control experience
- Coating (adhesive, release, or barrier) experience
- Spanish fluency
