Role Description
This is a part-time on-site / hybrid 10 AM-2PM Monday through Thursday role for a Clinical Medical Assistant Lead Instructor (TX).
The Lead Instructor will be responsible for conducting training sessions, facilitating hands-on learning activities, supervising students during clinical practice, and evaluating student performance.
The Lead Instructor will also assist in curriculum development and maintain accurate records of student progress.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field required.
- Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math.
- Front office experience.
- Back office procedures EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric, minor wound trays, and bandaging experience.
- No teaching experience required
- Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
- Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards.
- Comfortable with computers and technology.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Current CPR certification.
