Job Description
Education and Experience Required :
Minimum of a master's degree related to behavioral or public health with 5 years of experience
Within the 5 years of experience has worked with state agencies and behavioral health agencies
Skills Required :
Knowledge of behavioral health services and resources on a local, state and national level
Ability to guide the organization in meeting and exceeding standards
Preferred Experience :
Client community health agency experience as well as clinical experience working within the behavioral health system, providing evidence-based practices, participating or managing behavioral health programs
Overall Responsibilities :
Responsible for compliance with any federal and any state regulations or certification standards associated with Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC).
Responsible for monitoring and compliance of newly established CCBHCs throughout Rhode Island.
Project Coordinator Responsibilities :
Responsible for oversight and compliance to state and federal regulations and standards associated with CCBHC.
Coordinate processes and internal resources across multiple departments to ensure that CCBHC requirements are implemented, and outcomes met.
Participates in providing collaboration and attending meetings with all those associated with implementation and on-going monitoring of CCBHC.
Ensure that department leadership obtains the information necessary to support the organization's goals throughout implementation and monitoring of CCBHCs.
Prepare status reports for the Associate Director of special projects and the Director for review.
Ensure that all CCBHC program development plans and activities are executed in keeping with funding requirements and in keeping with the departments values, mission, vision, and strategy for the implementation of CCBHC.
Evaluate CCBHC effectiveness; identify successful and unsuccessful CCBHC relationships and engage in proactive problem-solving to reduce barriers impacting the successful outcomes in coordination with organizational leaders.
