Job Title : In Channel Account Manager
Pay Range : $66,500 - $100,000
Location : This role can work out of either our City of Industry, CA office or Remote in US Central & East Region.
Description : The Channel Account Manager for our Commercial Sales Team that cover all product categories include our PC system business unit and platform component business unit.
They are responsible for all Commercial sales functions within an assigned account base. They are required to manage and develop The Top US NSP and VAR.
The candidate will work to develop business relationships through Distribution structure, and independent networking through the IT Hardware Industry to best grow breath & revenue of Resellers for MSI in Commercial Channels & EDU / Corp / Government market vertical.
What you will DO :
- Works with MSI Sales / Marketing & Product Management Teams to develop go-to-market strategies for MSI Products and Services.
- Proactively identifies sales opportunities with NSP / VAR accounts.
- Focuses to develop MSI relationships and engagement within all levels of the assigned account base.
- Executes a business plan focused on driving unit / revenue growth and measurement against yearly defined targets for the assigned account base.
- Maintains multiple contacts within a large customer base, providing routine communication about MSI products, programs, offers, and promotions.
- Travels to various Named Account Locations to conduct face-to-face trainings and meetings to further develop MSI business.
- Weekly, routine onsite engagement to drive awareness and visibility for both short-term & long-term sales opportunities / pipeline.
- Maintains expert knowledge of industry trends, competition, customer buying patterns and sales / marketing techniques.
What you will NEED :
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-5 years of commercial IT industry experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in consumer electronics or PC industry is a plus
- Ability to work independently and set priorities while being a team player
- A clear understanding of branding strategy and marketing tactics for Commercial B2B and Partner marketing.
- Team player with ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and build business partnerships
- Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to explain complex situations and issues
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and to handle multiple duties, manage budgets, balance ongoing requests, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented and excellent attention to detail
- Positive, results-oriented attitude and a love of learning new things
- Experience working with US top NSP such as CDW, Insight, SHI, Connection and Zones is a plus
