OSP Design & Engineering Manager / Division Manager / Delivery Manager
Location : Erie, PA ( Onsite Role)
Skills and Experience :
Diploma / Degree in Engineering or Telecommunication
Minimum 5-8 years of OSP Design & Engineering exp required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership / supervisory position.
Delivery, Technical pre-sales consulting experience and / or understanding of networks FTTx, G.Fast, wireless (4G / LTE / 5G), OSS, inventory management and analytics is essential.
Good understanding of evolving telecoms industry trends in at least one of the following technologies : 5G, SDN / NFV or IoT (e.g. LoRA , Sigfox ).
Program management skills
Willingness to travel across US
Role and Responsibilities :
Delivery & Execution : Responsible for the successful execution of Telecommunications Network Planning, Design, Field operations and Software Solutions projects across US
Ensuring quality, on time delivery of the projects with minimum hand holding from the customer
Analyzing the daily project report and foreseeing the risks if any and plan the mitigation in advance to avoid any slippages of commitments to the customer.
This role will start with one of our major customers in the US then the business intends to expand the portfolio for rest of the customers in the US.
The candidate should have any past experience of working with Tier 1 telecom service provides in a Delivery / Program Management / technical consulting role will be an added advantage.
Building Proactive proposals exploring ongoing engagements and identifying business opportunities, adjacencies and innovation areas to support lead generation activities with Sales and BD teams, building proactive propositions & working collaboratively with the Sales team to improve the win ratio & Top line.
Liaise with the customer at various locations to coordinate the work with offshore team.
Customer Centricity : Build relation with various regional offices of existing customers, and have regular meetings as required
Attending periodic governance meetings with customers regularly through WebEx / in person and update the progress on the projects
Conducting meeting with project leads, third party vendors and other stake holders periodically and taking the update on implementation, challenges and address them as deem necessary
P&L responsibility to meet the Top line & GM% budgeted numbers
Work collaboratively with Sales, BD & Operations team on the revenue budgets, forecast & achievement
Help in building the Tech Portfolio for NAM region : CSP Proposition for Organic growth with strategic accounts approach / Inorganic growth on FTTx plus CSP & Enterprise proposition by Partner led / In-house & Inorganic growth
Compliance : Work closely with the team to ensure the process and policies are implemented and report the metrics.
