OBGYN Laborist Physician Locums Job in Upstate New York

Dates of Coverage :

Start Date : December 8, 2025 at 7 PM

End Date : December 12, 2025 at 7 PM (with potential for ongoing coverage)

Details / Requirements :

12 or 24-hour in-house call shifts (7P-7P is the 24)

New York license required at time of presentation

Must be Board Certified or truly BE with AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP

Minimum 2 years' experience

EPIC experience required

Patient volume : 15-20 patients / day

Procedures include : SVD, operative vaginal delivery, Cesarean section, circumcisions, D&C / D&E, and various gynecological surgeries

The facility is a 94 bed community hospital offering care in over 40 specialties and designated as a Level III Trauma Center (Level 1 Perinatal Center)

This role involves providing comprehensive care in obstetrics and gynecology, including prenatal monitoring, labor and delivery support, surgical procedures, and reproductive health counseling

Staff on Unit :

RNs : 6 on days / 5 on nights

CNAs : 1 per shift

Clerks : 1 per shift

Anesthesiologist : On call at all times
