Barton Associates is working with a client to fill a locum tenens Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner position in a hospital setting.
This opportunity offers a chance to support a new clinic and assist in orthopedic surgeries.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Provide full-time clinic and operating room support
- Assist in total hip, knee, and ankle procedures
- Serve as first assistant in surgeries (strongly preferred)
- Conduct pre- and post-operative patient care
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Soarian Clinical EMR system
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in both clinical and surgical settings, with a strong preference for first assist experience in orthopedic procedures.
