The Role :

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Lead Java Full Stack Engineer to serve our diverse base of global clients.

As a member of our team, you will build innovative, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable and secure architecture solutions using AWS, React JS, and Java.
• Oversee the implementation of standard processes in software development and architecture design.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams to ensure high-quality work.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation to support ongoing and future projects.
• Ensure the integration of new systems with existing infrastructure optimizing performance and reliability.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance the architecture framework.
• Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and DevOps practices to streamline development processes.
• Monitor and solve system performance issues implementing solutions to enhance system stability.
• Engage with collaborators to communicate architectural decisions and their impact on business outcomes.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of new tools and technologies to support project goals.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements in all architectural designs.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong background in AWS, React JS, and Java with hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions.
• Demonstrate expertise in the Cards & Payments domain understanding industry-specific challenges and requirements.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Show proficiency in creating and maintaining architectural documentation.
• Have experience in leading and mentoring development teams.
• Display strong communication skills capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical collaborators.
• Be familiar with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Understand security standards and regulatory requirements relevant to the industry.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
