Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to partner with our clients and own the delivery of their product roadmap.

You will be highly consultative, working directly with clients to define and prioritize their roadmap. You will need to understand the technologies being used, what their capabilities are and how they can be used to provide value back to our organization.

You are a critical thinker with a background in retail and an ability to own a solution from start to finish. You are a self starter and a highly motivated to own end-to-end solutions.

You will report to our VP, Strategy and Products

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with our client partners and gain their trust and develop their roadmap
  • Review the technology ecosystem and identify dependencies across systems
  • Make recommendations based on industry or channel best practices
  • Gather insights from user feedback or performance metrics and make recommendations on future optimizations
  • Facilitate the requirements gathering process with our clients and partners
  • Review analytics and performance data to gather insights and make recommendations
  • Define the measurable outcomes and acceptance criteria for incremental features
  • Definition of the goals, objectives & KPI's for new projects / features
  • Create release notes and talk tracks on incremental value created during each release
  • Work with teams to story point planned features
  • Manage resourcing and capacity within team to ensure balanced assignment of stories.
  • Create a product road map based on vision
  • Manage the product backlog and prioritize them based on changing requirements
  • Oversee all stages of product creation including design and development
  • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Familiarity with Workflow tools, reporting and creating dashboards
  • Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process
  • Collaborate with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
  • Participate in Scrum meetings, sprint planning and any other applicable agile ceremonies.
  • Create solutions with the clients and technical team
  • Loyalty domain expertise

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years in a Product Owner, delivery consultant or similar role
  • Minimum 2 years at an agency, consultancy, or similar environment
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Adobe, Salesforce or similar systems
  • Experience working in Commerce, DXP, CDP or automation tools
  • Experience presenting information to internal partners and external clients
  • Experience eliciting and defining requirements
  • Experience leading a team
  • Work in and support a team environment across different time zones
  • Project management and technology skills
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence (or similar tools)
  • In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
  • Working knowledge of product development architecture
  • Knowledge of user-centered design principles

This position is remote friendly.

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $59,000 - $96,025 / year.

Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
