Salary : $27.00 / hr
We have partnered with a large warehouse services organization in the Detroit, MI area to provide them with a Field Service Technician.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Field Service Technician :
1. 2 years Commercial Dock & Door Technician experience
2. Loading Dock experience
3. Ability to pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen
Requirements of the Field Service Technician :
- Experience in repairing and maintaining warehouse and commercial doors, loading docks, dock levelers, and other industrial equipment.
- Skills in welding, steel fabrication, and electrical work.
- Background in mechanical, commercial, and industrial maintenance.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Capable of thriving in a dynamic, technology-driven service environment.
- Adherence to safety procedures and company policies is essential.
- Ability to work independently, with occasional team collaboration.
- Proficient in interacting with individuals from various backgrounds and remote offices.
- Competent in completing service reports, timecards, and parts ordering.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Technical training and OEM certifications (e.g., AAADM, Rytec, Entrematic) are beneficial.
- Flexible schedule required, including potential evening, weekend, or holiday work.
- Availability for overtime.
- High School Diploma or GED is necessary.
- Valid state-issued Driver's License with a clean DMV record acceptable to insurance requirements.
- Must pass a standard Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and criminal background check.
Other Key Requirements :
- 100% in office
- No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
