AR Specialist
Onsite - Lehi, UT

We are seeking an experienced AR Specialist for our Lehi, UT office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, with the skills necessary to improve our current billing procedures and reduce A / R days.
The primary responsibility in this role is to provide insurance payer follow-up and ensure that claims are paid according to contracts.
Daily Responsibilities
- Follow up on denied, underpaid, and overpaid mental health claims
- Write appeals using established company guidelines to resolve claim denials.
- Identify trends causing slow payments.
- Meet quality and production standards set by Serenity.
- Maintain good working relationship with the billing team
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong people skills
- Comfortable being on the phone for extended periods of time.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite of office products
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Desire to learn and understand new concepts.
