Capital One is open to hiring a Remote Employee for this opportunity.What You''ll Do : Lead the Collections and Recoveries modernization portfolio with diverse technology projects and a team of engineers with deep experience in distributed microservices and micro front endsShare your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering communityProvide tech leadership to the team and resolve technical escalations, and guide junior members in the teamWork within and across Agile teams to design, develop, and support solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies Collaborate with product managers, and other stakeholders to brainstorm and plan feature delivery prioritizationsUtilize programming languages like JavaScript, VueJS, Java, HTML / CSS, TypeScript, Python, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker, ECS, and other AWS services including the Capital One toolset.

Basic Qualifications : Bachelor''s DegreeAt least 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) Preferred Qualifications : Master''s Degree7+ years of experience in at least one of the following : JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service4+ years of experience in open source frameworks1+ years of people management experience2+ years of experience in Agile practicesAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
