What You Will Do...
- Utilize strong leadership skills to effectively manage and coordinate production activities daily. Continuously contributing and improving overall Plant performance (effectiveness and efficiency) through KPI’s and effective coaching, mentoring, and training.
- Responsible for the safe and efficient day to day operations of the plant with an eye towards maximizing the efficiency of production activities while ensuring product quality.
- Ensure that weekly production schedules are met by deploying appropriate resources while managing standard cost.
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement activities through utilization of lean manufacturing. product quality, factory throughput, and delivery performance.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability in all aspects of plant operations, resulting in the safe production of quality products and services.
- Establish training programs for employees, set performance expectations, monitor performance and provide couching and feedback to the employees.
- Work with internal departments to drive Safety, Quality and Service levels for both internal and external customers.
- Ensures that all company policies are implemented and followed.
- Support and comply with all requirements of the Environmental Management System (EMS).
What You Will Have...
- Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Engineering or Manufacturing or
- Minimum 8 years of manufacturing experience preferably in a chemical plant
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated accomplishments in process improvements.
- Skilled in identifying and solving problems and ability of making independent decision to solve problems.
- Excellent Oral and written communication, ability to effectively present to senior management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong background in continuous improvement (Lean, Chemical manufacturing)
Pay Transparency (complete highlighted sections)
The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $160,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
