THE TEAM

Most of us had no previous experience working in music - just a shared excitement about the space, a willingness to go to concerts / venues / festivals when needed as part of the job, and a desire to go to concerts / venues / festivals in our free time, too.
The Strategy & Operations team within the Marketing & Data organization works on projects across all divisions, in particular spending time working with Digital Marketing & Core Data Services teams, across Concerts, Ticketmaster, and Sponsorship business units.
We do end-to-end strategic projects that range from developing and deploying innovative new fan experiences to modernizing our core data architecture.
We also support the annual strategic planning and budgeting cycle for our team, and partner with other groups to define their strategic priorities.
THE ROLE
Live Nation is looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to be a critical part of driving project management in the organization.
The Operations Manager will support a lean operations team by bringing solutions to scale and driving continuous process improvement for our team and partners.
This role will be responsible for working with stakeholders and cross-divisional partners to establish clear milestones and deliverables, to set timelines and a roadmap to delivery.
This candidate will enable collaboration across teams, while establishing clear accountability and ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables.
This individual will be a self-starter and see projects through to completion.
This person will support the identification and implementation of tools to measure progress on key objectives. These metrics will include operational analysis of internal and external communications, as well as identifying other business priorities and means to track performance.
Working at the corporate tier, you will have visibility across Live Nation Entertainment’s worldwide business and the opportunity to influence how we partner with other divisions, including Creatives, Artists, and Concerts.
This position is critical to understanding and continuously improving key business practices for the Marketing & Data organization.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in operations and marketing.
This person will report to the Associate Director of Operations.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
- Support operational solutions of department and cross-division partners, striving to continuously improve the overall efficiency of teams.
- Manage operational projects that span multiple teams.
- Execute communication plans and presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Create assessments on key findings, and maintain project status updates.
- Optimize workflow and cross-department engagements.
- Train team members on new systems and processes.
- Assist department leaders in implementing new policies and procedures.
- Show a bias towards action and build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING : TECHNICAL SKILLS / COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 2-3 years of work experience, preferably in an Operations role.
- Experience in project management and use of project management tools, with proven ability to complete projects according to outline, scope, and timeline.
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle, from requirements gathering to completion.
- Experience working across departments in a large organization, building consensus, and balancing project needs with longer-term relationship objectives.
- Intermediate experience in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communicator who can effectively collaborate with diverse groups.
- The ability to objectively assess processes, recommend improvements, and implement based on direction and goals.
DESIRED :
Experience working in Marketing or the Entertainment industry preferred.
