Senior Financial Reporting Accountant, Chesterbrook, PA
LCOR is seeking a full-time Financial Reporting Analyst to join its Accounting team in Chesterbrook, PA. The Senior Financial Reporting Accountant will primarily be responsible for the preparation of the Company's consolidated and subsidiary financial statements and other regulatory reporting requirements, developing accounting policies and procedures, monitoring, and implementing new accounting standards, as applicable, and maintaining necessary documentation for compliance with applicable accounting controls over financial reporting.
The Financial Reporting Analyst also is responsible for maintaining key internal and external relationships important to the Company's financial reporting process.
The Analyst is responsible for ensuring timely completion in accordance with established deadlines and reporting to accounting leadership and other internal and external parties as necessary.
Primary Responsibilities will include :
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages to various investor groups.
- Assist with preparation of annual GAAP financial statements and footnotes.
- Assist with annual GAAP audits and periodic compliance audits throughout the year.
- Produce the monthly operating results package highlighting variances and issues.
- Maintain market value accounting records in accordance with REIS guidance.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and filing of various reporting requirements within loan agreements.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and creation of the Company Annual Plan.
- Assist in tracking and buildout of operating KPI dashboards.
- Assist with ad hoc management reporting and presentations.
Skills & Requirements :
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Accounting.
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Business, Finance or related degree required.
- CPA or MBA a plus.
- Thorough understanding of GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting, as well as general accounting practices and reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Strong entity accounting knowledge (general ledger, balance sheet, cash flow, income statement components).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to articulate financial results to all levels of management in a professional manner is required.
- Strong Excel skills preferred (V-lookups, Pivot Tables, Power Query, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven, multi-tasking environment.
- Strong decision making and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects / duties.
- Results driven, service oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to maintain highest level of integrity and trust.
- Experience with consolidation and real estate field preferred. Yardi experience a plus.
