Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership : Formulate a comprehensive technology strategy that resonates with our organizational objectives in close collaboration with senior management.
- Cybersecurity Oversight : Lead our cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring we have robust defenses against potential cyber threats.
- System Management : Oversee the development and management of information systems, including appropriate budgeting and staffing for technology and security requirements.
- Policy Development : Design and implement information systems policies that guarantee data integrity, security, and adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Vendor Relations : Negotiate and manage contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors to procure essential services and products.
- User Support : Offer guidance and assistance to end users, ensuring the seamless operation of our technology resources.
- Help Desk Management : Supervise the User Help Desk services, providing first-level support to a diverse user base while continuously enhancing service quality.
- Disaster Recovery Planning : Formulate, maintain, and test disaster recovery plans to ensure the continuity of business operations.
- Technology Exploration : Remain at the forefront of industry developments by investigating new technologies with potential for implementation.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience in information technology and security, with a minimum of 8 years in leadership positions.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements concerning information security and privacy, coupled with best practices in technology administration.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and convey complex concepts clearly.
- Strategic decision-making capabilities that facilitate effective problem-solving and policy formulation.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in crafting and executing a comprehensive technology strategy.
- A degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline is preferred (relevant experience may substitute for formal education).
