Low Voltage Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, low voltage systems, or construction, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion.

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, all while ensuring the highest level of quality and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

• Project Planning and Coordination :
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
• Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Team Leadership and Communication :
• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team members.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Foster a collaborative working environment among team members.
• Resource Management :
• Identify and manage project resource requirements, ensuring the availability and optimal utilization of resources.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of project materials.
• Quality Control and Risk Management :
• Conduct regular project status meetings and generate project progress reports.
• Monitor project progress and implement adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Client Relations :
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring that project requirements are understood and met.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications :

• Education and Experience :
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, IT, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in IT, low voltage systems, or construction.
• Skills and Competencies :
• Proven experience in managing a diverse range of projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
• Certifications :
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
• Additional certifications related to IT, low voltage systems, or construction management are a plus.

Work Environment :

• This position typically operates in a professional office environment but may require site visits and fieldwork.
• The role may require occasional evening and weekend work to meet project deadlines.
• Travel may be necessary depending on project location and client requirements.
