Position Overview :
The Senior Director of Quality Assurance at Augmentjobs will oversee the quality assurance department, ensuring that all products and services meet the highest standards of quality before reaching the market.
This role is pivotal in shaping and implementing quality strategies, leading a team of quality assurance professionals, and collaborating with other departments to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership :
Develop and execute quality assurance strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Collaborate with senior leadership to set quality standards and drive initiatives for quality improvement.
Quality Management :
Oversee the development and implementation of quality assurance policies, procedures, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Implement robust quality control systems to monitor and enhance product quality.
Process Improvement :
Identify and address areas for process improvement, driving initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Utilize data and metrics to evaluate quality performance and drive continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with product development, engineering, and operations teams to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
Coordinate with external stakeholders, including suppliers and regulatory bodies, to maintain quality standards.
Risk Management :
Identify potential quality risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Manage and resolve quality-related issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Reporting and Documentation :
Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance, trends, and improvements to senior management.
Ensure comprehensive documentation of quality assurance processes and results.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) preferred.
Experience :
10-15 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of managing and leading a quality assurance team in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills :
Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Proficiency in quality management systems and software.
Leadership and Management :
