Essential Functions

INCUMBENT PERFORMS OTHER JOB-RELATED TASKS AS ASSIGNED AND REQUIRED; ANY DUTIES / TASKS INCLUDED IN THE EMPLOYEE'S PERFORMANCE EVALUATION ELEMENTS ARE ESSENTIAL TO THAT EMPLOYEE'S POSITION WITHIN THE JOB CLASSIFICATION.

Minimum Qualifications

The following minimum qualifications have been identified by subject matter experts (SME'S) who have supervised this position or functioned in the position; they are based on job analysis information supplied by these SME'S. However, if a candidate believes he / she is qualified for the job although he / she does not have the minimum qualifications set forth below, he / she may request special consideration through substitution of related education and experience, demonstrating the ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Any request to substitute related education or experience for minimum qualifications must be addressed to the Director of Human Resources in writing, identifying the related education and experience which demonstrates the candidate's ability to perform all essential functions of the position. As a government contractor, Vertex Aerospace requires all employees to be fully vaccinated as a condition of employment in accordance with Executive Order 14042. EDUCATION And / or EXPERIENCE

Graduation from a standard four (4) year high school or equivalent (GED) AND two (2) years of experience in work directly related to aircraft maintenance.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, And EQUIPMENT

A & P License

Sufficient aviation maintenance hand tools to perform routine Airframe and Powerplant duties
