Responsibilities :
- Prepares student tuition invoicing and reconciliation for local school system or parent-paid accounts
- Record individual student invoices in MIP and reconciliation with School System invoicing
- Prepares Outreach services tuition invoicing and reconciliation
- Prepares contractor invoicing and reconciliation
- Works with accounting department to properly apply receivables payments
- Reconcile cash receipts with cash log including allocations
- Record and reconcile deferred revenue on a monthly basis
- Reconcile student / parent accounts with education program on a quarterly basis
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between Program and Finance with regard to student / parent accounts
- Initiate and manage collections
- Cross-trained across department roles, including payroll, and A / P
- Researching and correcting errors and anomalies as assigned
- Drafting, validating and / or adhering to standard operating procedures
Requirements :
- BS in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 1-2+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with A / P and / or payroll preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organization skills
- Strong experience in MS Excel
- MIP experience preferred
