We’re looking for a Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager in the US, you'll be part of a team that thrives in a sales-driven and fast-paced environment .

In your role, you will focus on medium- and large-scale enterprises identifying areas of collaboration, driving innovation, and unlocking shared value.

Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term relationships with our customers.

  • You will focus on identifying areas of collaboration with end customers and partners, and driving innovation .
  • You will generate new sales and business by leveraging your existing and potential customer networks and business partners.
  • You will identify opportunities in target markets for DataMiner products and services.
  • You generate leads through cold calling prospective clients or networking at trade shows.
  • You will leverage digital and AI-based techniques to generate interest and leads.
  • You will develop strong customer relationships and cater to their needs.
  • You will report on the status of accounts and transactions using CRM software to manage interactions and sales funnels.
  • You will be responsible for setting and tracking sales account targets aligned with company OKRs & KPIs.
  • You will keep up with the latest industry developments , including market positioning of corporate competitors.
  • You will collaborate with departments such as Product Marketing, Customer Success Managers, Engineering & Consultancy Services, and Platform Operations & Quality.
  • You will work together with the Sales Account Managers and Directors daily to move people from the top of the sales funnel to being signed customers.
  • You'll report to the Global Sales Leadership Team .

Your competencies

You'll be working in a highly technical environment prone to constant change and evolution. On top of that, you'll have to collaborate with a great many (marvelous) people.

  • You have a great understanding of sales performance metrics and know how to leverage them within a business growth strategy
  • You’re a real people’s person : you have excellent communication and negotiation skills , and love to be around people.
  • You are a team player and breath continuous learning.
  • You are business-savvy and have a problem-solving attitude .
  • You have a real can-do attitude and view each no as a step closer to yes .
  • You have a leg up if you can work from the Weston office .
  • You've the ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • You have 3+ years of experience in similar roles.
  • You have excellent verbal & written communication skills in English; other languages are a plus.
  • You know your way around the technology / software industry and have a genuine interest in the latest business & technology trends.
