The Middletown Emergency Department currently seeks an experienced Part Time Emergency Department Registered Nurse. Join our Free-Standing Emergency Department serving Middletown-Odessa-Townsend area.

The state-of-the-art full-service emergency department features :

• 18 treatment rooms.
• Staffing by board-certified emergency physicians and emergency nurses 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week.
• Serving the most frequent emergency care needs.
• Dedicated on-site laboratory with walk-in hours from 7 : 30 a.m. 4 p.m.
• Dedicated imaging services.

Requirements :

BSN required or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.

Appropriate clinical experience. One year of nursing experience in an emergency department or critical care setting preferred.

At least one year of experience in a medical / surgical acute care environment is required.

BLS certification is required and ACLS is preferred.

Hours : This is a full-time flex (.9 FTE), 72 hours per pay. The hours are 07-1900, day / evening schedule.

Other : Weekend requirement is for every 3rd weekend. Holiday schedule follows department nursing guidelines for rotations and shifts.
