Job responsibilities

job title : Lead infrastructure engineer- Optical Quantum Product

• Utilizes knowledge of Optical Network Equipment and Telecommunications & experience with Quantum hardware and software solutions.
• Leads Network Architecture, Design (compliance, security), Network Engineering (planning, provisioning), Optical Network Hardware (configuration, performance testing, monitoring, operations), Network Management.
• Demonstrates advanced understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design,
• Launches and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget
• Supporting an environment that identifies opportunities to develop others through mentorship and leading by example
• Partners closely with, and acting as a trusted advisor to, stakeholders across the firm in order to influence strategic priorities
• Marinating one or more programming languages (JSON, Python). Experience with scripting tools, such as Ansible.
• Drives telecommunications experience specializing in layer 0 / 1 transport and above with expert level knowledge and experience with DWDM systems design and operations.
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on Optical Network Equipment and Telecommunications concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Proven experience in building out quantum-safe solutions (e.g., quantum key distribution or post-quantum cryptography) for clients and customers
• Experience with Optical Network Equipment and Telecommunications is required, ideally 10 years or more.
