About The Position

Job Title : CVOR RN

Experience : Minimum 3 years required, including trauma or major operating room experience

License : Active state license required

Certifications : BLS required, ACLS preferred

Must-Have :

• Required work setting experience : CVOR, General OR
• Required cardiovascular skills / experience : Aortic Aneurysm repair, Atrial Septal defect repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, ECMO, Femoral Cannulation, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Left Ventricular Assist Device, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, PDA, Pericardial window, TAVR, Scrub Cardiovascular Surgery
• Required vascular skills / experience : Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Atherectomy, Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Scrub Vascular Surgery, Vein stripping
• Required thoracic skills / experience : Laparoscopic assisted cases, Lobe resection, Mediastinoscopy, Thoracotomy, Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery, Scrub Thoracic Surgery
• Required endoscopic procedure skills / experience : Bronchoscopy, EGD, Laparoscopic assisted cases, PEG tube placement / exchange, Scrub Endoscopic surgery
• Whipple experience required
• Required professional knowledge and skills : Laser Safety, Specimen Handling / labeling, Universal Protocol

Description :

Position located in a busy cardiovascular operating room with an average daily census of 10 patients.

The facility consists of 4 rooms / beds.

The clinician will be required to take calls 1-2 nights per week and every 3-4 weekends.

The clinician may float within their scope to meet facility needs.

Weekend call is required every third weekend.

Candidates should have experience in both trauma and major operating room settings.

Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Candidates must have experience in various cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, and endoscopic procedures as detailed in the must-have section.

The position requires a commitment to the complete assignment without attendance or behavior issues.

Candidates must be open to schedule discussions with management.

No more than 5 days of requested time off is preferred.
