The Contract Specialist will organize and maintain the contract process while simultaneously seeking prospective contracts in order to catalyze business development success.
They will work closely with the sales and marketing teams.
This is a hybrid position in St. Paul, MN. You must be located in the St. Paul, MN area. This position is NOT remote.

Essential Functions
Oversee the contract process; review, evaluate, administer and provide professional guidance on contractual documents
Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications and negotiations
Review new contracts for accuracy, reporting requirements, and general scope of work, ensuring the operations conform to the terms of the agreement
Collect, log, and submit reporting data to external partners
Research and seek new contract opportunities
During non busy contract period, may assist with creating bid packages by compiling quotes, required bid documents, Vivacity marketing and literature, and any additional required information
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in legal research.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite and Google Suite products.
- Strong understanding of contracts and compliance.
- Ability to design and implement effective processes and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a facilitator role.
Education & Experience
- Familiarity with PEPPM, REMC, COSTARS, NASPO, Buyboard, Equalis, TIPS, Omnia and other K-12 contracts is strongly desired.
- High school diploma and minimum 4 years relevant experience required; two years paralegal experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
