Truck Driver - CDL Class B

Earn more from your hard work!Atlantic Plywood is looking for a full-time Truck Driver to join our team!We are looking for skilled Class B CDL Drivers to help meet the needs of customers by delivering and picking up products in a timely, safe, and courteous manner.

We seek highly motivated and experienced drivers with a background in delivering construction and or industrial products and providing customer satisfaction.

Starting pay : $22.00 / hourResponsibilities include, but are not limited to : Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspectionsFollow all corporate operational procedures and QC StandardsAdhere to all safety requirements, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety RegulationsMaintain the service and appearance of all company vehiclesFollow delivery / pickup instructions from Warehouse Manager and / or Sales ManagerPerform any other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager and / or Sales ManagerJob Requirements : Authorization to work in the USHigh school diploma / GEDValid Commercial Class B Driver’s License and clean driving recordCurrent Medical CardGood understanding of safety procedures and use of personal protection equipment (PPE)Good organizational and time management skillsMust be able to work unsupervised as well as in a teamMust be able to start early, work late occasionally as neededMust have a pre-employment physical, drug test, MVR, and background check upon hireRegulatory Compliance : Knowledge of GVWR’s, state / federal regulations regarding height / weight maximums, & winch operationsOSHA familiarity / trainingAcceptable DOT Drug Test HistoryDrivers will be subject to DOT-regulated random drug and alcohol testingPreferred Qualifications : Previous CDL Driving experiencePrevious warehouse experienceFlatbed and / or tractor-trailer experienceExperience hauling lumber or other building materialsPhysical Demands and Work Environment : Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading equipment and while securing your loadFrequent use of foot / feetFrequent lifting of 50 lbs.
