Job Summary :
The Department of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine’s mission is to provide outstanding, cutting-edge clinical care, research, and state-of-the-art training.
The Department is seeking a board-eligible or board-qualified otolaryngologist with subspecialty training in Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery (FPRS) to join the full-time faculty.
Particular consideration will be given to candidates with experience / interest in facial nerve reanimation, transgender surgery, cosmetic procedures, and / or clinical research.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
- Clinical service in the field of FPRS, with the primary location for this position being the University of Colorado Hospital at Anschutz Medical Campus as well as surrounding network of care sites.
- Development of a clinical program in an area of growth at the University of Colorado, specifically in facial nerve reanimation, transgender surgery, cosmetic procedures, and / or clinical research.
- Teaching and mentoring of fellows, residents, medical students, and other related trainees.
- Faculty expectation for regular academic / scholarship / research activities toward academic promotion
