Restaurant General Manager

Taco John's International in MN is looking to hire a full-time Restaurant General Manager to lead our food service operations.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER

As a Restaurant General Manager, you ensure that our food service establishment operates in a way that is profitable and efficient.

You coordinate our daily food preparation, effectively delegating tasks and directing your team. As orders come in, you jump in and help prepare them correctly.

You provide world-class customer service as you take orders and handle money. If there are any conflicts with guests, you handle them with ease.

Attentive to detail, you count cash from registers as well as from our safe, ensuring that all money is accounted for. Periodically, you make deposits at the bank.

You manage our inventory and put in orders as necessary. Throughout your shift, you ensure that our restaurant is clean and sanitized according to our standards.

You also manage our hiring process by diligently reviewing applications, conducting interviews, onboarding new employees, and overseeing training.

To help strengthen your team, you perform performance reviews for each employee every 90 days, providing them with constructive feedback according to your findings.

As employees work, you manage time cards and ensure that everyone stays within their daily hours. Highly organized, you create the schedule for each week according to each employee's availability.

Every month, you attend management meetings. You love leading our team and take pride in the part you play in the success of our food service establishment!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER

  • 18+ years of age
  • 1+ years of experience in restaurant management
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • ServSafe or Prometric / NEHA Certification
  • Customer service skills

Experience working in fast food is preferred. A college degree would be a plus. Are you enthusiastic and energetic? Do you have superior interpersonal and communication skills?

Are you attentive to detail and motivated to find solutions? Can you effectively prioritize multiple tasks? Are you able to inspire and motivate others to put forth their best effort?

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER

This food service position is full-time and typically works 5 days per week . The shifts vary based on our business needs.
