Job Details
- LOCAL Bill Rate - Sensitive data removed
- For 48-hour contract, OT is paid out after 48 hours
- Their application MUST show some 1 : 5 ratio experience in the Work History section for SD or PCU
- Targeted patient ratios are 1 : 4-6
- Unit participates / may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients
- Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit.
Job Requirements
- Must have vent exp
- Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH. IV Start preferred
- Nurses will be fitted for N95 before working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered / needed.
- 1.5 years exp and some level 1 or 2 preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- EPIC exp required
Schedule Information
- Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion
- Agency will float in / out of specialty clusters
- Traveler must be available to work every other weekend / holiday
- Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract
- Premier Health reserves the right to cancel the agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine
Unit Specific Information
- 36 Bed Neuroscience / High-Risk Respiratory
- An intermediate care neuroscience unit
- Currently a mixed acuity (med surge / intermediate care) High-Risk Respiratory Unit
- Neuroscience Intermediate Care Unit provides skilled care to diverse patient population
- Neuroscience Intermediate Care Unit will return to neuro intermediate when MVH COVID number of patients decreases
- SE 10 is currently a high-risk respiratory unit and will return to a neuro intermediate care unit
- SE 10 nurses staff the 36 HRRU / Covid beds and float to the Neuro ICU
- SE 10 staff are assigned to Neuro ICU and are assigned a buddy
- Use heated high flow, bipaps
- Navy Blue Scrubs
Additional Details
- Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives
- Request RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer
- RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion
- Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report, and other certs are not needed if listed on the application.
