Job Description

Minimum Required Experiences

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 4 years of directly related multifamily underwriting and credit experience.
  • Broad understanding of the Fannie Mae DUS Program and DUS Loss Sharing Structure and Fannie Mae’s Multifamily Selling and Servicing Guide.
  • Tableau skills.
  • Experience using an eGRC platform such as Risk Works, MetricStream, Archer, etc.

The MF Credit Risk - Risk Management - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities :

  • As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to assessing and identifying potential risks that may threaten our reputation, safety, security, and / or financial success.
  • Collaborate with team in communicating and collaborating with key stakeholders across the enterprise and understanding business objectives.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Determine business areas that pose potential risks to the enterprise.
  • Evaluate the impact of proposed risks to the enterprise.
  • Monitor and report on information and processes to reduce risk using rigorous analysis.
  • Document and report on resolutions and control guidelines.
  • Partner with the team to review business strategies, and make decisions that will drive success in the face of shifting consumer behaviors and regulations.

Skills :

  • Skilled in governance and compliance to include creating policies, evaluating compliance, developing data governance, etc.
  • Ability to analyze data to identify trends or relationships which inform conclusions about the data.
  • Excellent communication skills. Can explain concepts, answer critical questions, and frame ideas as systems, inputs, outputs and processes.
  • Strong influencing skills to include negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict.
  • Skilled in relationship management and able to successfully work with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively towards a common goal.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with tools such as Excel.
