Job Description
We are seeking an Accounting Clerk with previous accounting / bookkeeping experience to join our growing organization.
Responsibilities :
- Record payables to the system.
- Record timesheets to bill clients.
- Apply prepaid funds to invoices.
- Make billing adjustments - i.e. move time from a project to another, correct invoice, etc.
- Follow up on open invoices and orders of assigned accounts.
- Assist with generating orders, applying payments from clients, and generating invoices.
- Assist with other accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in Accounting as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Assistant.
- Attention to detail, analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with accounting software. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or Sage Intacct preferred but not required
