OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTING CLERK ROLE :
Billing and Collections : Generate and distribute invoices to clients, and assist with collections to ensure timely payments.
Daily Operations : Perform daily tasks such as filing, managing deposits, and generating financial reports.
Accounts Management : Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain accurate financial records.
Client and Vendor Interaction : Communicate professionally and courteously with clients and vendors as needed.
Administrative Support : Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting department by performing various administrative tasks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ACCOUNTING CLERK ROLE :
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
