About The Position
Job Title : Sterile Processing Technician Job Specialty : Technician Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : AM, 8 hours (9 : 00 am - 5 : 30 pm) Guaranteed Hours : Experience : Minimum years of experience not specified License : Certifications : Must-Have : Job Description : Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment following established protocols.
- Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and restock as needed.- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety guidelines.
- Monitor and document sterilization processes and equipment functionality.- Assist with the maintenance and operation of sterilization equipment.
- Coordinate with healthcare staff for timely availability of sterile instruments.- Participate in call shifts as required.
- Adhere to department policies and procedures to ensure a sterile environment.
