The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking an Anesthesiologist for its practice at Mount Sinai Brooklyn Hospital!

The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking to add a faculty member to its Mount Sinai Brooklyn practice located at 3201 Kings Highway in Brooklyn.

The Mount Sinai Brooklyn practice has 10 faculty members and performs about 6000 anesthetics per year.

We are seeking a ABA board certified or board eligible anesthesiologist that is highly motivated, qualified, energetic, and team orientated.

This is a full time position.

Position Description :

Staff general operating rooms, interventional radiology and endoscopy

There is no Pediatrics, Cardiac, Obstetrics or major trauma

Overnight call is from home

Collaborate with multi-specialty practice colleagues as an integral part of a world-class health system

Fully integrated Electronic Health Record

Position Qualifications :

Medical Degree from an Accredited University

New York Medical License

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology

Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills

A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System

Compensation range from 465K to 525K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital / community need.

Mount Sinai Brooklyn, a 212-bed acute-care community hospital located in Midwood, has gone through numerous renovations and upgrades over the past decade to expand its scope of services.

The latest advances include a completely redesigned intensive care unit, a new 128 slice CT scanner, MRI services, new digital mammography equipment, and a new state-of-the-art radiology suite.

The hospital’s emergency department also serves as a major hub of activity and a critical community resource. The hospital enjoys an excellent reputation in such specialties as cardiac care, geriatric care, gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology and orthopedics.
