We are assisting a large managed service provider in their search for a Network Architect to join their team on a full-time basis.
They are working on building out a new datacenter, so they are looking for someone to come in and architect and build it out.
They need someone with a primary focus in datacenter specific design and builds. In this role, you will be working with several networking gears and equipment, designing, and implementing a spine and leaf architecture, and taking ownership of the new datacenter.
The ideal candidate is skilled with Cisco Meraki, Arista, Aruba, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
This is a direct hire, fully onsite position located in Dallas, Texas. Required Skills & Experience
- Experience architecting large scale datacenters.
- Experience in design and deployment leveraging Arista, Palo Alto, and Cisco Meraki.
- Experience with network automation using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
- Understanding of cloud networking with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of network security like intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and monitoring.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 6-8 years of experience working in a senior level network position with an emphasis on design.
- 4+ years datacenter specific experience.
- Related certifications (CCIE Datacenter, CCDP, CCNP, etc)
Tech Skills
- Cisco Meraki, Arista, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet gears
- Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform
- Variety of routing protocols such as eBGP, iBGP, OSPF
- LAN / WAN / SDWAN
