The MPD Center of Excellence (COE) provides comprehensive support across the Weatherford MPD organization, including services such as the Real-Time Data Center, technical support, training, research and development, as well as the manufacturing, maintenance, and repair of MPD products.
The site also supports aftermarket business models.
The Sr. Director - MPD COE is responsible for driving the execution of MPD fulfillment and aligning operations with the Product Line Strategy.
This role will lead a cross-functional team, ensuring the successful delivery of the organization's mission and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities

OPERATIONS
- Collaborate with Global Product Line, RD&E, R&M, and Manufacturing leadership to develop and implement long-term strategies that drive business growth and success.
- Establish and enhance the Center of Excellence (COE) through effective execution of all operational mechanisms.
- Understand the voice of the customer and ensure internal stakeholders within the COE are aligned with customer needs.
- Responsible and accountable for budgeting and financial planning to meet the objectives of the Center of Excellence.
- Build and lead a high-performing, diverse team that fosters a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Optimize resource utilization, including staff, technology, and equipment, to meet organizational goals.
- Oversee facility processes, systems, and KPIs to drive productivity improvements.
- Responsible for organizational performance and continuous improvement of the COE objectives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the COE's objectives.
- Stay current on industry trends, product line developments, and emerging technologies to foster innovation within the team.
COMMUNICATION
- Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external
- Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles, and responsibilities to their reports
- Embrace lean methodologies by collaborating with peers across the globe for collaboration on work standards, process standards, methodologies, vendor alignment, cost savings opportunities, development of redundant capabilities where relevant, and in general conduct open communication for the purposes of continual improvement

Experience & Education
REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, from an accredited university.
- 10+ years of experience managing business operations, preferably in Oilfield Services.
- Proven experience developing a strategy culminating in successful outcomes.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience overseeing manufacturing and / or service operations.
PREFERRED
- Strong understanding and experience in the oil & gas industry.
- Global experience managing business operations.
- MBA or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) applications, technologies, and solutions.
- Understanding of digital enablement for products and services.
