The Role
As a Business Analyst Consultant within the Core Wealth Platform Product Area, you will support multiple squad initiatives aimed at growing our core business and scaling our technology.

The role will focus on the migration and modernization efforts of the applications and systems supporting the Fidelity Insurance Agency to the cloud.
As part of this effort, the role will be responsible for not only completing migrating but for identifying struggles, gaps and opportunities in the end-to-end process that would benefit from migration to the cloud or modernization efforts.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience
- Familiarity with life insurance products, such as annuities, a plus
- Strong execution background with the ability to multi-task and prioritize for efficiency and business need.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and uncertain, with technologies you may have never worked with previously and gather the data and information to get to the root of an issue to resolve.
- Ability to assess end to end process and analyze opportunities for modernization and enhancement.
- Ability to lead initiatives and take accountability for overall program success.
- Successfully translate business needs into technical requirements for developers and designers.
- The ability to break a Jira story down into small components, understand the purpose and be able to test.
- Ability to identify application and system issues, enhancements, and requests by researching platform specifications, conferring with domain guides across the Enterprise.
- Thinks strategically about the end-to-end process and how platform updates may impact the Squad and the business.
- Evaluating, and making updates to, procedures and processes with an eye towards operational efficiency
- Has experience identifying and working with data to analyze, find opportunities, drive fact-based decision making, and measure results.
- Experience in running large scale technical programs and projects with multiple streams of work you're doing, resolving challenges, mitigating risks, and working through dependencies while collaborating with internal partners to ensure turning points are met.
- Conduct business acceptance and validation testing and to lead the team through various stages of the release cycle.
- Experience working with a full stack technical infrastructure with the ability to map dependencies and integrations.
- Proficiency in business acceptance testing, validation exercises, and release management.
- Outstanding analytical skills, with the ability to analyze current business and technical processes, triage issues, find opportunities for efficiency and improve applications and tools based on insights, solutions, and requirements.
- Consistent track record of strategic planning, defining, and writing requirements, testing / learning, iterating on, and delivering outstanding technical solutions.
The Team
You will be a member of the Cloud Acceleration squad that is part of the Core Wealth Platform Product Area. Your main focus will be supporting the platform migration and modernization efforts of the platform, application and systems supporting the Fidelity Insurance Agency to the cloud.
In this role you will partner with a variety of vital team members including other squads within the Product Area, Wealth Digital Experience, FIA, Brokerage and Wealth Technology partners.
